24 hour Comic Jam

The Jam was last night and it was awesome. We had it at Kiki's house and a lot of people showed up. I had to work all day and I got there about 8 hours late and did not finish my comic. However, I am really happy with my story and i think it will be really funny. I can't wait to finish it. Thank's guys I had a lot of fun!

August 9th Comic Workshop!

At the Garden and Arts Center in Lubbock Texas the Sketch Club and Z in the Middle Productions will host a workshop for artists looking to strengthen their skills and a Vendor and Creator room that will hold all your favorite local art. A horde of volunteers are excited about this project and the many to follow. Hope to see you there, tickets can be purchased by sending me and email and I will email you all of the info for tickets and the event in general. The class workshop is $25 dollars and will be taught by Will Terrell. An additional $5 dollars will get you into the Vendor and Creator show room, plus you may attend the Classes offered by Sketch Club Teachers, to include Ginny Pape, Rachel Simmons, Bakka, Sarazann Greenwood and others to be named later. There will be a rest area with refreshments available for a small cost. Bakka will be playing piano throughout the day for your enjoyment. Make sure to take note of the Star Books and Comics Sponsor Table in the front lobby. Here we will showcase some of the art created by the sketch club and the stories written by the Lubbock Comic Book Writers Association. This Comic Show is open to the public and any may attend. If you show up in costume you get in free!!!!! (workshop is extra)

Holy Comic Books Batman!

So hey, I love drawing, who would have thought it? Not me for sure but this writing and drawing gig is really taking my imagination to a new level. I have the fever and I am running with it. I've finished five comics and have six more penciled waiting for the ink and many others in the developement stage. I really have learned a lot doing all of this and I think it will prove to be a good fun thing for this year of productions. Once the equipment comes in I'll start with animation so the world may enjoy my twisted sense of humor. Love to all. I'll post some of the books up sometime when I get a chance to find my scanner.

Alice in Post, Texas

I have been working with the Garza Theater and, director, Heather Rushing painting the sets for Alice in Wonderland. I am so excited about the play, I've been painting all week and most of last week. Everyone seems to think I'm doing a good job, so yeah me! I'll post some photos soon. Come see the show in Post, Texas at the Garza Theater June 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, 21, 22.

My First Comic Book!!!!!!

At the 24 hour comic event I made a stick comic about my favorite game, The Kingdom of Loathing. I liked making comics so much that I kept it going with some strips and an epilogue to the first issue. The second comic is due out here in a week or so. But the first has sold out twice. I sold out at the Expo and I made another printing and sold the last one two days ago. I love drawing these guys and people seem to like reading them, so WOOT! for everybody.
