A horde of volunteers are excited about this project and the many to follow. Hope to see you there, tickets can be purchased by sending me and email and I will email you all of the info for tickets and the event in general. The class workshop is $25 dollars and will be taught by Will Terrell. An additional $5 dollars will get you into the Vendor and Creator show room, plus you may attend the Classes offered by Sketch Club Teachers, to include Ginny Pape, Rachel Simmons, Bakka, Sarazann Greenwood and others to be named later. There will be a rest area with refreshments available for a small cost. Bakka will be playing piano throughout the day for your enjoyment. Make sure to take note of the Star Books and Comics Sponsor Table in the front lobby. Here we will showcase some of the art created by the sketch club and the stories written by the Lubbock Comic Book Writers Association. This Comic Show is open to the public and any may attend. If you show up in costume you get in free!!!!! (workshop is extra)
Holy Comic Books Batman!
So hey, I love drawing, who would have thought it? Not me for sure but this writing and drawing gig is really taking my imagination to a new level. I have the fever and I am running with it. I've finished five comics and have six more penciled waiting for the ink and many others in the developement stage. I really have learned a lot doing all of this and I think it will prove to be a good fun thing for this year of productions. Once the equipment comes in I'll start with animation so the world may enjoy my twisted sense of humor. Love to all. I'll post some of the books up sometime when I get a chance to find my scanner.
